- I understand that LeapTel is only able to provide limited support for BYO modem/router customers and that I am expected to be able to set the modem/router up with minimal assistance
Limited technical support is limited to: confirming that you have the device plugged in correctly, confirming that in general terms you have setup the device correctly (such as pppoe and vlan assignment if required) and checking if we are seeing your modem try and authenticate to our network. We are unable to provide step by step instructions on how to configure every type of modem/router. If you are unsure we highly recommend you purchase one of our routers which is sent out pre-configured with step-by-step instructions on how to plug it in.
