Leaptel guarantees high speed internet. In simple terms, we provide a steady stream of data to all users by ‘opening the pipe’, instead of throttling flow during busy times.
We take this seriously. If your Leaptel internet speed consistently falls below 10% of your chosen service plan and we’re unable to fix it, we’ll either release you from your contract or provide (at our discretion) a discount until the problem is rectified.
To qualify, contact our support team and conduct speed testing using our provided speed test server via an ethernet wired computer over a three-day period.
Within 10% of service plan speed for services connected on 12M/1M, 25M/5M or 50M/20M. Other speeds guaranteed up to 50M/20M.

If the service is jumpered by nbn™ with a fixed line (co-existence), we can only guarantee up to 12Mbps/1Mbps until nbn™ un-jumpers the PSTN line.
Leaptel guarantees within the current NBN Fixed Wireless Specifications for speed, which sets the minimum speeds of 6Mbps down and 1Mbps up. Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee speeds above this.
